OVERSTOCK ALERT!!!!

This week I have a large amount of overstock of the UTMOST rarity!  And there is some truly SUPERB items here!  Of course - I will be doing my usual amount of auctions (all ending every Sunday as usual!) - but because I have a few extra items, I have decided to list the excess overstock as a Buy It Now!  And these items I have decided to list as 'buy it now' listings for 4 very different reasons:-

1) Music I dont usually sell in my auctions:-  Any type of music I dont usually sell in my auctions, I have decided to list as a buy it now.

2) Paper Goods:-  there are a couple of items that arent records, though they are music related!

3) Low Gradings:-  Some items have lower gradings (though ALL will be presentable and play through FINE - unless explicitly mentioned!), so please read through the descriptions carefully.  That said even these will still be VERY presentable indeed (with only 1 or 2 exceptions), EXTREMELY RARE INDEED (otherwise I wouldnt bother to list them), be very VERY strictly graded, have VERY decent covers, and play through fine (NO skips & NO jumps etc - unless mentioned).

4) Overstock:-  Quite a few items were due to be auction listed, but as I geniunely have A LOT of overstock - I have decided to try and sell them quickly via buy it now!

OFFERS :-  Please note, I will NOT sell outside of ebay, NOR will I accept offers to sell offline.  It is against ebay rules.  However, even though these 'buy it now' items are priced VERY competitively indeed - I WILL still be including ebays 'Best Offer' function on every listing!  So if you arent happy with the advertised price - why not send me a 'best offer' using ebays 'best offer' function?  Be quick though - some of these are likely to sell VERY quickly indeed, as I am certainly NOT greedy with the 'buy it now' price!

So in short - there are some truly SPECTACULAR items on my buy it now listings, and definitely NO dross AT ALL!!!!

DETAILS ABOUT GRADING & BACKGROUND ON MY BUY IT NOW AUCTIONS (Please read!)

Obviously it is in both my interest and the buyers interest to grade CORRECTLY!  So I grade EVERYTHING standing on a chair directly under a 150 watt bulb which reveals everything!  Therefore if I grade a record 'VG' - it does NOT mean it is 'covered in scuffing and marks' - it will still be a VERY clean looking record indeed, and often barely played!  For example - if I hold a record under light and see a lovely black sheen, but a few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs, and 2 or 3 VERY light lines - I will still ONLY grade the record VG+.  So whilst you shouldnt expect MINT from my 'VG' records - you should still expect a VERY clean & bright looking record indeed!  And even my records graded only 'Good' or Good+' will be VERY presentable playable examples indeed!  And if I list a record in the condition most LPs seem to be in today (namely covered in general light scuffing - but still plays through absolutely fine with a few crackles & pops) - then I would ONLY grade this record Fair or even Poor+.  So I am very VERY strict on grading indeed - and almost NEVER use an Excellent grading unless the record looks virtually 'factory fresh' under light!  PLEASE ALSO NOTE - obviously as there are a lot of buy it nows being listed, I have had no time to play every groove on every record (that would be impossible!), so I have given a visual grading + play checked sound quality in snippets.  However it is very VERY easy to spot any sounding marks under light, and these were checked to make sure they did not jump or stick.  That said - some of the Buy It Nows I am listing look like they just came from the Factory and are in AMAZING condition, some are in Excellent or VG condition, and some have lower gradings (so please read everything carefully!).  So basically right across the grading spectrum!  So to summarise - if you buy one of my records, and expect the grade given you should be very pleasantly surprised indeed!  And in the unlikely event of a problem, any purchase is also covered by a refund including postage.

I HAVE ALSO TRIED TO PRICE THESE RECORDS TO SELL - AND HAVE NOT SET THE 'BUY IT NOW' PRICE SLIGHTLY 'HIGH' HOPING THAT BEST OFFERS (USING THE EBAY 'BEST OFFER' FUNCTION) COME IN AT 'ABOUT THE RIGHT PRICE'....  I WANT TO GET THESE RECORDS SHIFTED QUICKLY!  BE AWARE THOUGH - THAT SOME OF THESE ITEMS MAY WELL FLY OUT IMMEDIATELY AT THE 'BUY IT NOW' PRICE ALONE (AS THEY ARE PRICED UP VERY CHEAPLY INDEED IN COMPARISON WITH THEIR EXTREME RARITY!), SO YOU MAY WELL HAVE TO BE QUICK!  IN SHORT - I HAVE TRIED TO GRADE VERY STRICTLY INDEED - AND PRICE THESE RECORDS TO GO!

So please buy with absolute confidence and take a look at this GREAT item on offer below:-

RARITY:-   Just about the RAREST LP on the UK United Artists label!  Really REALLY hard to find now.  It sold terribly on release - and the chances of seeing another one again are virtually zero!

COUNTRY:-  UK

MONO/STEREO:-  MONO

PRESSING:-   1ST PRESSING - BLACK & SILVER UNITED ARTISTS LABEL, 'SOLD IN THE UK' LABEL TEXT, 1G/1G MONO MATRIXES, AND 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED MONO COVER!

ARTIST:-  THE EASYBEATS

TITLE:-  GOOD FRIDAY

CAT NUMBER:-  ULP 1167

LABEL:-  UNITED ARTISTS

DATE:-  1967

SIGNS OF PLAY:-  REGULAR

LABELS:-   EX

RECORD GRADING:-   Although this record is still VERY bright & shiny looking and plays WELL - it is essentially what is known in the record collecting world as a 'player'.  In other words it has a few lines/marks on either side - but still plays through absolutely FINE!  It plays with NO skips, only a few clicks, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!  There is some audible background sound (common on this LP) on the run on grooves & gaps - though the music is VERY loud and punchy indeed, leaving this well behind it!  Still a VERY decent listen indeed!  I will grade the record as Fair+ - to avoid any disappointment (though most would grade higher I am sure), though remember it still plays through absolutely FINE - with NO skips and NO jumps!  So although this record isnt perfect - it is still a VERY bright & shiny presentable example, and one of the RAREST UK RECORDS EVER MADE!

INNER:-  PLAIN

COVER GRADING:-  The 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated Cover is still VERY presentable indeed!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear,  slight corner wear (with some evidence of 'tipping in'), NO edge splits, a small repaired nick to the opening edge (100% strong here!), NO surface tears, shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing!  There is also quite a few creases on this cover - though generally these are confined to the VERY edges - and the cover is still flat looking. The back of the cover is in GREAT condition - with NO ringwear, NO flipback damage, only 1 MEGA faint stain trace to the left, NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO yellowing, a few creases to the flipbacks, and NO writing!  The cover must grade G if not better - though it is still a VERY solid & useable cover indeed!  Essentially it just looks a little 'used' - but there is absolutely NO massive defects on this cover AT ALL!

DEFECTS OUTSIDE OF THE GRADE GIVEN:-  N/A

--ooOOoo--

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items (I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!) - PLEASE REMEMBER to contact with me FIRST, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy!  Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again - Graham @ XXXRecords.

PLEASE NOTE - Private feedback bidders must consult me first prior to bidding - due to previous problems regarding non-payment, and non-receipt.   MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS (I always undercharge on postage!):-  Due to UK Royal Mail's obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little.  Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002.  However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever.  However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100% guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out.  Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself.  On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package (please check it when you recieve it!).  I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs!  And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference.  THAT IS MY 100% POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER!  No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I'll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged.  Any questions - please ask!
