THE EASYBEATS - FRIDAY ON MY MIND - ORIGINAL MONO STILL-SEALED UNITED ARTISTS LP - HIGH FIDELITY UAL 3598 - PERFECT CONDITION
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS CONDITION - HOW MANY OF THESE DO YOU THINK ARE STILL AROUND, STILL SEALED, MONO, IN THIS CONDITION???
I worked in record stores as a teen starting in the early 1971, and have had this remarkable LP for OVER 45 years...she's NEVER been played, as I already had one at home.  Most folks think these guys were British Invasion one-hit wonders + that's all - not so, they actually were from Australia, and the 1st Aussie band to have an international hit, and the rest of this LP and their next LP, 'FALLING OFF THE EDGE OF THE WORLD', are both better than most British Invasion bands albums.   Then, in the 1970s when Australia was in the midst of a deep recession, a rough and ready pub rock sound emerged, characterized by bands like Rose Tattoo who were promoted by family-run company, Alberts. The raw power and fat guitar sound that characterized Aussie rock was pioneered by the Alberts and took Australia and the world by storm. The sound of Aussie rock really exploded when the Alberts, a well-to-do family from the Sydney suburbs, joined forces with the Young’s, a Glasgow family who had emigrated to Australia. The result was AC/DC,  led by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young,  produced by their older brother George and fellow Easybeats member Harry Vanda. Vanda and Young produced the band at Albert Studios and they were soon joined by the wild and charismatic lead singer Bon Scott. All starting with the Easybeats...
***(I never stored my LP's in the record sleeves; hence no splits. Covers always in plastic sleeves, records always in rice paper + plastic sleeves; sure I'm nuts, but that's EXACTLY what you want when you're looking for rarities such as these.) Think Phil Hartman (RIP) as the anal-retentive chef from SNL when SNL mattered...that's me.

NO SPLITS IN COVER, NO FADING, NO SCRATCHES, NO FUNKY, MOLDY ODORS, HOLE PUNCHES, MOISTURE DAMAGE, PEELING, NOTHING AS FAR AS BLEMISHES...  ( I USE GOLDMINE GRADING, AS I WAS A CONTRIBUTER AS WELL AS A SELLER IN GOLDMINE FOR ALMOST 15 YEARS...).
See pics, ask questions - I'm here to assist. Plenty of pics from all sides so you can see what I mean when I call it a gem.
(I have OVER  4,500 records that have been in climate-controlled conditions all through the years, and around 175 to 200 are still sealed, mostly all 60's, mostly psych, pop and Beatles, Crimson or related, so you might want to add me to your favorites, as I'll be listing several hundred over the next few months. I'm a huge collector, and it's time I downsized some of my collections)
ALWAYS OPEN TO REASONABLE OFFERS...REASONABLE BEING KEY. (HINT: 40-50% IS NOT REASONABLE...).
