Description

You are bidding on an LP released by THE DRUIDS in 1973 entitled “PASTIME WITH GOOD COMPANY.”  This record was released on the ARGO Record label and the catalogue number is Argo ZFB 39.

THE DISC is in excellent condition, the vinyl is nice and shiny and the marks around the spindle would seem to indicate a minimum amount of playing.  There are some very light surface marks that can only be seen under a bright light.

THE LAMINATED ‘MacNeill Press’ SLEEVE is in excellent condition with no scuffing on three sides and the opening edges are nice and sharp with just a hint of wrinkling.  There is some slight ring marking on the front of the sleeve near the top and bottom edges where other records have been placed on top of it but the laminate is not broken.  My photo does not do the sleeve justice as it is not quite sharp.

The track listing is as follows:

Side 1.

  1. To Drive the Cold Winter Away/Father Kelly’s Jig/Rollicking Irishman.
  2. Congleton Bear.
  3. Three Merry Men of Kent.
  4. All’s Dear But Poor Men’s Labour.
  5. Marquis of Lorne/Locomotive Hornpipe.
  6. The Diggers Song.
  7. The Leaves of Life (The Seven Virgins).

Side 2.

  1.  Oddjobs Polka/Sally Gardens.
  2. Three Jolly Sportsmen.
  3. Pick and The Maltshovel.
  4. The Irish Girl.
  5. The White Cockade.
  6. Marrowbones.
  7. Flowers of Edinburgh/Come Let Us Dance and Sing/Kate Dalrymple.

This is a fine example of this hard to find album and I have tried to describe it the best I can.
