Original very early true 1st pressing of The Doors Strange Days with an extremely rare five panel fold-out '68 ELEKTRA RECORDS CATALOG and never seen before on the Strange Days album white rectangular "MONAURAL" STICKER affixed to the cover at the top left corner of the front cover underneath the shrink wrap. The Elektra Records catalog was placed inside the covers before they were shrink wrapped. The ultra rare catalog features the information about Elektra's artists along with their photo, including The Doors, whose photo is located at the top left corner. The Doors records list is located on the middle panel (please see the close up photo), indicating the catalog numbers for the Mono and Stereo issues of Strange Days (with an * asterisk next to the title, indicating the New Release): EKL-4014; EKS-74014 and 1st Self-Titled album: EKL-4007; EKS-74007. The album comes with an original custom Strange Days inner sleeve with a photo of the band on one side and song lyrics on the other. Original 1st print Elektra Records mustard Monaural EKL-4014 catalog number labels with a 2.75' pressing ring. Heavyweight 1st pressing vinyl, approximately 160g, with the EKL 4014A (CP) B3 P / EKL 4014B (CP) F6 P catalog numbers. The trail-off vinyl contains another symbol, the public information about which is absent online. Dedicating some time to the research, taking macro photos and inspecting different spelling interpretations we've come to the conclusion that the symbol reads "BB" on both sides. It would be totally reasonable to assume that these symbols are the mastering initials of Bruce Botnick, which is known for his work with The Doors. The (CP) symbol indicates the pressing by Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman.

VINYL: EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) Beautiful glossy vinyl with some very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve, none of which can be felt with a finger nail.

LABELS: NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Very clean scuff and wear-free shiny labels with only a couple very light spindle marks on Side B, visible under a strong light source.
