Original US very rare Elektra Records Promotional Radio Station Copy of The Doors The Soft Parade, released in July 1969. This example, along with the other titles currently listed at our auction, is coming from an incredible The Doors private collection. Authentic very early print thick cardboard gatefold cover remains in the original factory shrink wrap with breath holes in Near Mint condition. The top right corner has an original rectangular Elektra Records promotional sticker with a stylized large "E" logo and defining the status of this copy as "Not For Sale" sticker underneath the shrink wrap. The back cover also contains a stylized "E" Elektra Records logo at the center top along with the "1855 Broadway, New York, NY, 10023" address at the center bottom. The issue comes with a custom The Doors The Soft Parade inner sleeve with the photos of the band on one side and lyrics / credits on the other. This Radio Station Copy contains the white labels with a “Radio Station Copy“ banner along with a large Elektra Records logo at the center top. The original "EKS-75005” catalog number is located on the right. The vinyl, pressed at the Columbia Records Pressing plant, Pitman, contains several identifiers in the trail-off vinyl, like the “CP”, “P,” along with the "EKS-75005-A / EKS-75005-B“ matrix stampers. I grade the vinyl as Strong Very Good Plus as it has some very light insignificant surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve, seen under a strong light source. The beautiful white labels are very clean without any wear or scuffs. The vinyl has a very deep rich glossy surface, retaining its original factory lacquer.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other.
