From my nostalgic selection of vinyl records for sale, here's another rare album.....

Elektra EKL4014 1967 Mono Matrix 4014 A1 & B1
Tracks are :- Side 1. Strange Days, You're Lost Little Girl, Love Me Two Times, Unhappy Girl, Horse Latitudes, Moonlight Drive.
Side 2. People Are Strange, My Eyes Have Seen You In My Mind, I Can't See Your Face, When The Music's Over.
The record has definitely seen a lot of action and certainly been played a lot. There are numerous surface marks. Most are light and feint, but there are a few prominent deeper marks which are clearly visible when caught at the correct angle for the light. The record plays through them all and does not have any sticks or stops, but there is a fair bit of noise evident, most noticeable between the tracks. It is a mono recording and does have that special echoey sound, especially with the haunting type of music from the doors.
The textured Elektra labels are in very good condition with the normal range of spindle marks showing. Has a name written on the B side label.
The matrix numbers are EKL4014 A1 & B1 so it is a very early pressing from 1967.
The fully laminated sleeve is in really good condition. There is no real rubbing in evidence, just a bit of feathering on the opening edge and a few small ripples in the laminate. The spine is in lovely condition and all the printing shows clearly. I would grade the sleeve as Excellent.
Also includes the rare pictorial/lyrics inner sleeve with the Black & White picture of Jim Morrison and the band. It is complete, but has had a selotape repair at some time.
A rare early pressing 1967 classic Doors album in mono.
