Description

THE DEVIANTS – THE DEVIANTS

Original 1969 UK first pressing

Transatlantic Records – TRA 204
Stereo LP
Original white/purple Transatlantic labels
Made in England

Matrices:
Side 1: TRA 204 A1
Side 2: TRA 204 B1

Original UK first pressing of The Deviants’ self-titled third album, produced by Mick Farren.

VINYL – VG+ / EXCELLENT PLAYBACK

The vinyl retains an excellent gloss. Under strong light there are some light hairlines/surface marks consistent with its age, but nothing that significantly affects playback.

I have play-tested the complete album on both sides and it plays extremely well throughout, with no skips, no pops and minimal surface noise.

I am conservatively grading the vinyl VG+ visually, with playback approaching EX. Please examine the photographs for the visual condition.

LABELS

Original white and purple Transatlantic TRA 204 labels. They present very well for their age. Please see the detailed photographs.

SLEEVE – VG+

Original fully laminated, top-opening picture sleeve.

The sleeve presents very well for a 1969 copy, with strong colour and artwork. There is some light edge/corner wear, minor creasing and normal age-related wear, but no major damage. Please study the photographs, which form part of the condition description.

BOOKLET

Please note: the original credits booklet is NOT present.

INNER SLEEVE

Supplied with the period paper inner sleeve shown in the photographs.

OVERALL

A very nice, genuinely good-playing example of the original 1969 UK Transatlantic TRA 204 A1/B1 pressing of this increasingly difficult-to-find British underground/psychedelic LP.

The record’s particularly strong playback is worth emphasising: no skips or pops and only minimal surface noise throughout.

All condition details have been described as accurately and conservatively as possible. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.

The record will be packed securely in a proper LP mailer with stiffeners for posting.
