Description
This is a vinyl version of the cd box set that came out about 20 years ago. It features some excellent and rare Cure stuff that is very hard to get on vinyl. My personal favorite is the b-side "2 late," which is just classic, up-tempo & melancholy Cure. The album has a lot of good stuff to offer but I simply don't need it because I have the cd box set, too, and I'm trying to do some spring cleaning this autumn.
The shrink wrap is still on it but it has been opened and played once. It sound great and is basically in like new condition because it was new when I bought it and playing it once is about as minimal as I could do it without play testing.
The reason I play tested it, by the way, is the blackish/ dark bluish marking on the record (side A, I believe- you can see it in the pictures). I wanted to be sure that was just from the manufacturer when it was pressed and nothing else. It is a total non-factor and appears to be just a matter of, during manufacturing, a different color vinyl mix (PVC, basically) getting into the record.
I can't stress enough- this is mostly a new record, save the one play. The shrink wrap is something you'll likely want to take off because, as you can see in the pictures, it is ripped and wrinkled. The jacket itself, at the mouth, has a little wear. That's one of the reasons I priced this lower than everyone else on ebay who has one (that, and the fact that I typically try to be very competitive).
I will ship quickly and keep the music safe. Thanks for looking and please check out my store for other offerings.
