PLEASE NOTE: 78 RPM RECORDS ARE VERY FRAGILE!  THEY MUST BE PACKED AND SHIPPED WITH GREATER CARE THAN LPs OR 45s. I TAKE GREAT CARE IN PACKING AND SHIPPING 78s. THIS RECORD WILL BE SANDWICHED IN CARDBOARD, WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP, AND THEN NESTED IN STYROFOAM PEANUTS, OR SOMETHING SIMILAR, IN A LARGER BOX.

Here we have a classic R&R recording from Buddy Holly/The Crickets on a RARE 78 RPM Brunswick 10 inch record. This recording of “That’ll Be The Day” went to #1 in 1957. The flip side is “I’m Lookin’ For Someone To Love”.  This disc is a very nice VG+ but has a few light scuffs and rubs. There is still a lot of gloss and the labels look excellent with almost no spindle marks. 

The major concern would be one rub on the “Lookin’” side that starts at the edge of the record and angles into the grooves for about 1 inch. This has the appearance of a “surface” rub but also has what appear to be 2 small scratches as a part of the rub. I’ve tried to get a good pix of this rub. It is just above the reflection of my lamp on the record surface. 

Upon play testing, I heard no tics as my machine played thru the rub. Sound quality on both sides was superb, with both sides playing Loud, Clear & Strong, surprisingly better than other discs I had test played just moments earlier. This record will be placed in a Generic sleeve for shipment.
