Description
You are looking at an unplayed yellow vinyl LP of ‘The Clash’ by The Clash on the VEpic label. I believe this is a Canadian pressing. It differs from the UK/US versions in that its sleeve is predominantly dark blue in colour instead of the combat green we’re used to, so it’s a really interesting variant on one of THE classic Punk Rock UK albums.
I bought this album between 10 and 8 years ago from Sister Ray in Soho, London. Immediately after purchase, I sheathed the album in a heavy duty clear PVC gatefold outer sleeve and replaced the cheap unlined paper inner with a high quality polylined paper inners. The album has been stored carefully ever since in my smoke-free home.
As I say, it is unplayed as I have both the US and UK versions of the album on CD and to be honest, I’m not a big fan of The Clash.
I would grade this record as Near Mint to Mint (as I say, it is unplayed, but I reserve Mint grading only for items that are still sealed in shrinkwrap) and the same grading for the sleeve.
The record will be supplied in the PVC outer sleeve. Packaging will be a professional cruciform cardboard mailer source from Covers33, the record collecting accessories dealer all the pros use. Check my feedback from other buyers who have bought vinyl from me recently for an idea of the quality of my goods and service.
Please note that I do not sell outside the UK under any circumstances, so please don’t waste your time or mine by asking. Many thanks!
