Bob Eubanks owned a club in North Hollywood called the Cinnamon Cinder that featured the Pastel Six as the clubs Resident Band. This album was released to introduce the band to a broader audience and promote the club. See the back cover slick for more information and photos of the club. The original ZEN LP is very difficult to find as there were not many produced back in 1963. I have had it in my garage/surf collection for many years.
