Description

The Chantels - Maybe.

A lovely single sided London demo of this highly prized rarity from arguably the best female R&B group; equally regarded by many as one of the best R&B doowop style songs ever recorded.

The Record 

1958 Uk London single sided 45rpm demo Matrix No. MSC2279, which became the A side of London HLU8561. In a compnay paper sleeve; solid centre pressing.

Condition

A very nice clean and bright copy marred only by slight surface marking (which is in run-off) and the number "39" having been marked on the centre of the play side. That number is also written on the blank side. As is usually found with demos of this period, the track time is written on the label as well as the record catalogue number ink stamped.

Very good strong sound, EX-.
