THE CADETS-Rockin' 'n' Reelin'-SUPER RARE LP/ORIGINAL CROWN LABEL/MONO/NICE

TITLE/ARTIST: Here is one of those super rare and highly collectible LP`s by one of the '50's greatest, albeit short lived, doo-wop group's - The Cadets - their very 1st release on the original Crown Label. It is yet another album which is in really good overall condition - both the vinyl and jacket - and one I never thought I'd ever part with, but here it is, so have at it... The album is on the original, black with silver print, Crown Label and is entitled "Rockin' 'n' Reelin'", and includes the group's biggest hit single, "Stranded In The Jungle", from 1957. The LP includes 12 great songs in all, including,  "Heartbreak Hotel", "Church Bells May Ring", and "Annie Met Henry" amonst all the others - all in MONO and all in great shape (see pics above for all song titles and more). I have listed - and will continue to list - many other LP's, EP's and 45's in the weeks and months ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: This original, black with silver print, Crown Label (CLP 5015) is extremely nice with no real issues at all - I see only a few light spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had only a small amount of actual play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is primarily super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing much in need of any mention. If you look closely enough under the right type of light you can see some light, manufacturer's pressed, surface "pops", but nothing too serious, believe me - and they have no effect on the album's play, and do little to effect it's appearance either. In fact, other than this, the vinyl looks almost as clean and nice as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, the jacket is also primarily very clean and nice, but it's not perfect by any means. The attractive looking front side looks perfectly fine, but the backside shows some signs of aging/ring wear, and there is a considerable amount of scuffing (even some small 1" tears/splits) along the seam and/or corner areas. But, given the rarity and collectability of this piece, I don't see these flaws as being all that serious - but that's just me! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this piece isn't perfect by any means, but in my opinion this ultra rare LP is pretty darn nice overall and really hard to find anymore - so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties.
