The Bystanders – That’s The End / This Time, 1965 On Pylot
Those of you who know this record will know that the Bystanders went on to become The Man Band and to have great success in the late 60sd and early 70s. This single features the classic line up of Micky Jones (guitar), Ray Williams (bass), Jeff Jones (drums), Clive John (keyboards) and Vic Oakley (vocals)
By the time of this release the band were well established on South Wales but had yet to make the charts or reach national fame, on the sleeve is a David Evans sticker, a nice touch, it was a local department store with branches in major South Wales towns. This record was unearthed in Swansea
Condition
There is one quite visible scuff on side 1, it is just over a centimetre long, it is shallow, does not click or sound and looks like it was caused by a fingernail or similar, apart from that only minor paper rubs, but for the scuff it would be EX- but it will have to come down to VG+. The sleeve has a bit of wear at the opening and centre hole, EX-
