Description
THE BUZZCOCKS SPIRAL SCRATCH E.P. 1977 1st pressing on the new hormones label. The sleeve has one small seam split on one side and the ususl age handling and light staining but otherwise looks excellent considering its age and the thin paper they were made from. The record has some surface marks on the plastic, this was caused by the previous owner keeping the record in a pvc sleeve without a paper cover, leaves a shaded ripple effect but no damage. Does not affect the record playback in any way. There is also a very light surface scratch and some other light handling marks but I've played the record through on both sides and other than some crackling due to age there in no skips or jumps. The close up photo of the scratch is barely visible and it's not the strip of light you can see on the reflection. Crackling can be heard at the beginning and inbetween tracks. Anybody who knows this record knows the spiral scratch recording was quite raw anyway and to be honest the light crackling just sounds like it is part of the recording. Also with this single I have added a small collection of some excellent A4 size repro prints of the early band including Howard Devoto as well as a couple of band logos. Because of the light scratch and marks I'm listing the record at a low start with no reserve. You won't be disappointed. Any questions please ask.
