This auction is for a RARE, PRIVATELY PRESSED, STEREO Vinyl LP record album of rock/folk rock music. ARTIST: The Bright Side (a group of five young ladies - Ann Bjornsen, Jane McNulty, Juli-Hempe, Diana Gaffney, and a fifth lady identified only as Julie) TITLE: Just Us LABEL/NUMBER: RPB (Recorded Publications Company), no number RELEASED: 1969 *This appears to have been The Bright Side's Debut and Only album release. **RPC was a custom label, in business from the 1940s through the 1980s and would typically press records from tapes brought to them by their clients (although they did record some artists once they established their own studio). Most of their releases included the statement, "Recorded from client's source material", though the labels of this release have the variation, "Recorded from client's furnished tape". RPC would press as few as 25 records for their customers, but there is no way to know how many of these The Bright Side LPs were made.MATRIX NUMBERS (stamped): side one: AZB 42481 . 1 P side two: AZB 42482 . 1 P
CONDITION:
VINYL: MINT-minus - completely shiny, no scratches, no scuffs, no marks, looks great! BLUE LABELS with SILVER PRINT/LOGOS/GRAPHICS: MINT-minus - no writing, no stains, no scratches, no stickers, two or three tiny/very light spindle marks. GENERIC PLAIN WHITE PAPER INNER SLEEVE: MINT - no splits, no tears, no writing, no stains. COVER (with cute cover art by Sheli Mitchell): NEAR-MINT - solid & complete with almost no overall wear; no cutout marks, 1/4-inch split right end bottom edge, no writing, no stains, no ringwear, almost no surface wear, almost no edgewear.Multiple purchases will be packed together to save you money on shipping/postage.
