THE BEATLES-RUBBER SOUL-1982 MFSL ROCK LP

This is very nice copy of the audiophile pressing of The Beatles LP, Rubber Soul, issued by MFSL in 1982 and pressed in Japan by JVC (Japan Victor Company) on virgin vinyl (vinyl is translucent as light passes through). This LP was purchased by me used a number of years ago and was played sparingly. This is very rare and sought after LP.

As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

Visually this album is in beautiful mark free condition. The LP is being graded from very good to very good plus condition due to play grade as specified. The reason for the grade is that on Side 2 there was heard a barely audible tick at the end of the cut Wait, and another barely audible tick at the end of If I Needed Someone. Other than that LP plays beautifully. Testing was done using headphones. My overall impression is the album is still a very enjoyable listen . Please note that this was cleaned before testing which was done few weeks before listing and done by hand and not machine. It should be cleaned again before listening.  There is writing on the label near the spindle hole on Side 1. The cover is in excellent condition. There is very light corner wear at all corners. There is some very light seam spot wear on the seams and spine, but no seam splits. The product information is clearly readable on the spin. There is a slight dent in the top seam about an inch from the spine  cut in the cover at the top of cover near the mouth of about 1 inch. The color on the front cover is very nice as is the back cover 

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned. Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
