Description
Welcome to my auction for an excellent example
of a 45 year old album.
RUBBER SOUL.
Loud cut,first batch pressed before the mistake was identified,
probably only 1000 pressed.
RUBBER SOUL 1965 PMC 1267 MONO.
Side one. XEX- 579-1 -
1 or 4 etched in run out grove at 9 o'clock, HD at 3 o' clock
( First lacquer,1 or 4th mother 70 stamper)
Side two. XEX- 580-1- 2 at 9 o'clock -LH in run out groove at 3 o' clock
( First lacquer,2nd mother, 87 stamper,has GGG below.)
Vinyl..both sides in excellent plus condition,would be near mint
but for a few very light spider marks.
Labels...nice and clean....K.T. tax code...
Very minute spindle wear.the album has been played and looked
after extremely well.
Plays superbly.
Inner sleeve..original,slightly going brown due to age,
one small split,creased at corners,if i can find a better one
i will enclose that one.
Sleeve in top condition Excellent+ fully laminated at the front
with a few creases,no peeling etc.
Reverse..Ernest J Day flipbacks in great condition,fully stuck
down,although bottom right hand corner just unsticking a little,
does not show on photo.Rest of the reverse in great shape
for a 45 year old sleeve that has been handled but looked
after very well.
Spine .....top condition,fully readable writing,all laminate intact.
Corners a little scuffed through storage.
This is a very respectable copy for the collector and could
be your final upgrade.
