This is an original 1965 first press as indicated by THE GRAMOPHONE CO and SOLD IN UK label text,this copy has the large STEREO on the labels and is KT stamped
The laminated garrod & lofthouse gatefold cover is in lovely condition
The laminated front is very clean and shiny with just some edge creases,the corners are nice and square but have a little rubbing
The back is very white with just a small bit of wear on the bottom (fingernail size),the flipbacks are lovely and clean but have some creases on the flipbacks.the magor defect is near the word "stereo" on the top is a removed sticker tear
The seams and spine are nice,the bottom seam has one tiny bit of wear,on the spine the text is all clear and readable but has a couple of creases
The parlophone labels are STUNNING.All of the text is all clean and readable
The thick heavy vinyl is in great condition with no deep scratches and no groove wear!!,it looks MINT! but under a strong light you can see just a couple of very very light marks which have been caused by taking the record out of the sleeve but these as stated are light and minimal
The record sounds great but has to my suprise some light background noise in places,mainly on side 1,this does not overshadow the music and maybe with a proper clean on a cleaning machine you could get rid of it
