Description
Up for sale is Beatles Yesterday and Today Butcher Cover EP. The front of the cardboard jacket features an image of the Beatles dressed in butcher smocks surrounded by pieces of cut up meat and baby doll parts from the original photo shoot of the album. The back of the record jacket features an alternate trunk cover. The vinyl disc is the size of a standard 45; 7 inches. The jacket is in nice shape and retains its original light gloss. The seams are fairly nice with the exception of the top middle seam and the seam opposite the opening of the jacket. When lying flat the seams appears intact however there are splits that can be seen in the photos. I did my best to take good detailed shots of the seam splits which were caused from the original storage of the disc in the jacket. The vinyl looks nice with minor scuffs and retains the majority of its original gloss; the labels look nice as well. The printing on the disc label has “Promotion Record” and “Not for sale” printed in bold black. Overall this is a great piece and displays nicely! I no longer have a working turn table to test the disc but it appears as if it will be problem-free. If you have been looking for the original Butcher Cover but have found it to be out of your budget, here is a nice affordable alternative to the original album.
