THE BEATLES WITH THE lp Stereo 1st pressing [Ex-/Ex-]....Jobete.. GREAT AUDIO

Description

An original 1st Stereo press 'Jobete' on UK Parlophone. Matrix 2/2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover. Also included is an original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.

Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Don't be put off by the fact side 2 labels look like its seen heavy use. This looks worse than it is --- and judging by the audio...this copy could outgun many other better looking copies. Under close inspection I can only make out a few light marks per side, a couple of very very small heavier ones - nothing likely to trouble this heavy press. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an AT LEAST NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with minor deviation in one spot per side. Nice audio with little background at all.  It's a pretty clean player throughout. I couldn't detect more than a bit of light presence in a couple of spots. Otherwise fantastic. Highly recommended and hard to fault. From the vintage and rarity aspect really very impressive.
Cover (Ex-) In great condition and has been cared for down the years. Some thumbnail creases on the front right side with the rear exhibiting minimal ageing which is very unusual. ...few examples have this nice near white back. Slight edge wear. A 1 inch wear-through has been very carefully tape repaired [very minor cosmetic issue]. The spine exhibits minimal wear text fully legible - 90% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. But no splits.
