COMPLETE WITH THE RED/WHITE 'FOOLS' CUSTOM INNER SLEEVE (with 2 flipbacks and "Made in Great Britain" and "Patents Applied For" text) AND CARDBOARD CUT-OUT SHEET ("Printed in England")

THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT DEBATE ABOUT WHICH ORIGINAL MIX IS BETTER - THE MONO OR STEREO (some of the major differences are outlined below) - PERSONALLY I THINK YOU NEED BOTH
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band: The mono version has a more prominent guitar towards the end, which is barely audible on the stereo version.
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds: The vocal has a noticeable echo on the mono version, which is not there on the stereo.
She's Leaving Home: The stereo version is slower than the mono.
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise): On the mono version the audience sounds begin more sharply, the drum intro is 4 beats longer, and there are some words spoken by John and some audience laughter ALL of which are missing from the stereo mix. Paul speaks at the end, but it can barely be heard on the stereo version, but the transition from "Good Morning" is smoother than on the mono

Sgt. Peppers was the first "concept" album, although any link between tracks is pretty tenuous.
The record was the first not to be banded into individual tracks, with hardly any gaps between songs.
It was also the first to use the run-out groove, therefore leave the stylus on the record and it would chatter away endlessly.
The cover too, is the subject of a few firsts:
It was the first to have the lyrics printed on the reverse.
The inner sleeve was also custom designed - the first to be decorated in a design by Seemon and Marijke.
Plus the LP came with a set of Sgt. Pepper cardboard cut-outs, which include, a moustache, a picture card, some sergeant stripes, 2 badges, and a stand-up.
The album sold a quarter of a million copies in Britain in it's first week of release, and by the end of June had topped 500,000 sales. But it didn't sell it's One Millionth copy until April 1973, some 6 years later

LABELS: NEAR MINT
Clean, unmarked labels with only a few spindle traces - seen little play
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen, are practically unmarked and shine like new
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
No other way to describe the strong, crystal clear, loud and bright audio quality and my play-check at loud volume found no audio imperfections - probably exceeds it NM audio grading as it plays flawlessly throughout - beautifully silent playing surfaces - exceptionally clean copy and the finest I have heard in a long, long while (I am always reluctant to grade any Sgt Peppers as MINT unless it is completely unplayed but this is as just about as MINT as you are likely to find)
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT(+)
Good and solid with just a little rubbing to the spine text (still readable) and some light creases otherwise, a fine example with very little wear
INNER SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
The 'Fools' inner is clean and unmarked with just a split to the centre of the bottom edge
CUT-OUT: NEAR MINT
Practically untouched
