SCARCE 1969 UK ISSUE WITH MEGA-RARE FLIPBACK GARROD & LOFTHOUSE MONO/STEREO HYBRID SLEEVE, ACCORDING TO MANY REPUTABLE RECORD DEALERS & BEATLES COLLECTORS: ONLY A FEW HUNDRED OF THESE SLEEVES EXIST MAKING THIS THE RAREST UK SGT. PEPPER COVER VARIANT. For those unfamiliar with this rarity,the Mono & Stereo catalogue numbers are printed on the top-right rear of the sleeve (see scan, N.B. all pictures & scans are of the actual item) and 'This is a mono recording.' is printed near the bottom right of the rear cover.  Normally only the mono or stereo catalogue number is printed on the top-right corner.  However, in this instance both mono & stereo were printed and this sleeve was removed from production very quickly due to the mono format being phased out. INCLUDES CUT-OUT INSERT, GREAT COPY!

CONDITION OF VINYL (visual grading):

SIDE ONE: EXCELLENT

SIDE TWO: EXCELLENT

Both sides of this Beatles LP are in excellent condition.  The vinyl is glossy and appears virtually unmarked and unworn.  Both labels are in great shape, there are only a few light spindle traces.  The record plays very well throughout with virtually nothing to spoil the listening experience.  This is a great copy and should please most collectors.

CONDITION OF SLEEVE: EXCELLENT(-)

This extremely rare sleeve just falls short of a complete excellent grading due to a few light creases and a few extremely small, barely visible, indentation marks. 

CONDITION OF CUT-OUT INSERT: EXCELLENT

COMMENTS:

This rare LP is essential for any Beatles fan or collector.   This rare item should please most collectors.  Good luck bidding, very few copies exist with this rare cover, especially in this condition.  N.B. PACKAGING INFORMATION:

This record will be sent to you in a high quality cardboard record mailing envelope and it will be protected by two strong cardboard stiffeners in order to prevent unwanted bending during transportation. The record will be placed in a PVC outer sleeve and “sandwiched” between the cardboard stiffeners. The envelope will be sealed with strong brown tape.

Please bid with confidence. I will always aim for the record to reach you in the same condition in which it leaves me, especially since having had disappointing experiences receiving badly packaged records.
