The BEATLES
''THE BEATLES"
Famously nicknamed "THE WHITE ALBUM"
APPLE RECORDS 2x LP # in STEREO
AS SHOWN IN PHOTOS - "SEXY SADIE" has been misprint ed as "SEY SAIDE" - an oversight at the label printers in Sweden!
It makes this issue an unique collectible though!
The 'Fab Four' were becoming veterans of a storied career, that essentially began about 10 years before they recorded this album. Sadly, their catalyst and manager had tragically ended his young life, alone, and losing his influence on the band. This was to be detrimental to their course, though at the time their huge World fanbase were unaware.
The lads sequestered themselves apart more often now, preferring to record exclusively each of their own songs, and having George Martin gather the members accordingly.
The resulting album didn't actually suffer as a whole - in fact it is an outstanding work, fulfilling on 4 great sides!
The sound was slightly more serious, focused - and certainly hinted what direction in style their own records would take.
The CONDITION of both discs grades NM-, a slight pressing shadow, wisps of paper lines perhaps. Barely visible, and the playback is superb.
Lables are NEAR MINT, no stains, stickers or pen. Great, lovely bright and clean.
The Laminated Gatefold Cover is VG++, the remainder of a sticker on the front. It's Embossed with the copy number "N° 162008".
No custom inner sleeves, photos, lyrics or poster.
