Description
This is the RARE 1st PRESSING STEREO ALBUM, of THE BEATLES Rubber soul. Released on the YELLOW/BLACK PARLOPHONE label, catalogue number PCS 3075 run off groove numbers are YEX 178-2 and YEX 197-2 and stamper codes read ?RH and 2 RG, released in 1965. The label has "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD" and "Sold in the UK” label text.
The "Garrod & Lofthouse" record sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition and looks almost like new!!!
Sleeve has no rips, no tears, and no sleeve creases, super flat sharp edged spine, lovely clear print, no missing laminate, super MINT flat flip over back cover edges, back cover is NEAR MINT one small tiny very faint surface only sleeve crease (looks like a small crack) just above John Lennon’s head, and some slight minimal surface wear. Very slight corner rubs on the top and bottom left hand side only. No split seems just a few (surface only!) small and very slight laminate creases, on the front cover.
Record comes with the original "Emitex Inner" die-cut sleeve, clean with no writing, no rips, no tears and no seem splits, minimal record shape creasing again in EXCELLENT condition.
Record labels are EXCELLENT+, super deep rich clear print, looks just pressed!! Very light spindle hole marks visible on both sides, indicates very light playing (small edge hole scuff on the A-side). KT embossed tax stamps like new! With no wear!
Record playing surfaces still retain their superb brilliant original sheen!!!!
Record playing surfaces display no immediate visible surfaces marks VISUALLY GRADES NEAR MINT!
Close scrutiny under a strong bright light will revel only a few small/medium lightly scattered surface scuff marks, all these are ultra feather light scuff types only! There is absolutely nothing heavy and nothing serious!
Record play grades EXCELLENT+, the sound displays, no crackles, no clicks, no pops and no jumps.
Overall this is a superb copy, which has been hardly played by its owner and at the same time has taken great care of the record and looked after it.
