Description
Now-rare 1976 2-LP Beatles compilation, Rock 'n' Roll Music, on Capitol SKBO-11537. The "rocking" side of the Beatles is being shown here... mostly emphasizing their early covers, but going all the way to the end. These 1970s "Mastered by Capitol" pressings, mainly on the later 70s purple Capitol label, are said to be the best US masterings of the Beatles music, and are more valuable than the originals for some collectors. Anyhow this comp is one of the earliest examples. This copy is in lovely condition. Both discs are very near mint and play flawlessly. The cover has ringwear, as almost all do, as a result of the silver metallic artwork which rubs off so easily. Aside from the ringwear there is barely any further sign of use. There is a name (Sky) written on the labels of sides 1 and 2.
