THE BEATLES Revolver (Odeon Hör Zu SHZE 186) RARE Original German 1st Pressing MINT-
Very RARE German first pressing of The Beatles` psychedelic masterpiece "Revolver" on Odeon/Hör Zu Records (July 1966).
There`s not much to say really about this record, except that re-hearing it after some years, "Revolver" never ceases to amaze with its freshness, pure sense of creative joy - and its amazing variety. Without doubt (at least in this writer`s view), this was The Beatles` crowning musical achievement!
GRADING:
EX+(+) COVER in allround very fine condition for its age. Please see the photos for details.
- Minimal record imprint on front and rear of the sleeve.
- Perfectly legible, largely uncrushed spine.
- A few creases to the spine, as well as to the edges.
- Slightly bent corner (at bottom right).
- Small area of laminate lift along the spine (rear sleeve, at top).
- Also includes the original, custom-printed Odeon Records inner sleeve, in perfect MINT(-) condition!
...and now for the really good news!
MINT(-) RECORD, visually stunning and obviously only played once or twice...at most!
- Absolutely peerless audio delivery throughout, with no crackle or other distractions whatsoever.
- Perfect, untouched gold-and-white Odeon Records labels, with absolutely no spindle wear at all.
- A very, very light paper scuff that runs horizontally over part of side two. Near-invisible and absolutely inaudible!
- The matrix stamps in the run-out grooves read "SHZE 186 - A - 1", respectively "SHZE 186 - B - 1", thereby clearly denoting a very first German pressing.
- This record is fully certified to be a very first German pressing of "Revolver", issued in July 1966.
...All things considered, I venture the claim that you will not NOT find another copy of "Revolver" in as perfect a condition as this one in many a month...year?
