THIS IS INDEED AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE THIS MOST RAREST OF BEATLES MIS-PRESSES. PICKED UP FROM A COLLECTOR WHO HELD 6 COPIES OF THIS ALBUM WITH "STEREO" EMBOSSED ON THE FRONT COVER. FOUR WERE 1ST PRESS STEREO COVERS WITH THE EARLY AND INDICATIVE "PATENTS PENDING" CREDITS ON THE REAR, TRIPLE FLIPBACK SLEEVE, AND, TWO WERE RE-ISSUE SLEEVES WITH STEREO EMBOSSED ON THE FRONT.

THE AUCTION HERE-WITH IS FOR THE EARLY 1ST ISSUE SLEEVE WITH "STEREO" EMBOSSED ON THE FRONT COVER (SEE PICS). IT HOLDS THE PATENTS PENDING CREDITS ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT FLIPBACK MARGIN ON THE REAR OF THE SLEEVE. THESE TRIPLE FLIPBACK MARGINS WERE LATER REPLACED BY A CLEAR, FLIPBACK FREE REAR COVER. THE FLIPBACKS ARE IN SOLID CONDITION WITH ABSOLUTELY NO LIFTING OF THE SEAMS, HOWEVER THERE IS A FEW MINOR CRACKS IN THE LAMINATE MARGINS AND A SMALL SIGNATURE IN THE TOP LEFT REAR. THE FRONT IS STILL BOLD WITH A FEW LAMINATE INDENTATIONS.

THE LABELS

THE LABELS ARE CRITICALLY GRADED AT EXCELLENT + AS THEY HAVE NO WEAR OF ANY LETTERING ON THE LABELS. (SEE PICS) THEY ARE ONLY DOWNGRADED BY THE PRESENCE OF LIGHT SPIDER TRACES. THEY STATE "SOLD IN THE UK" CREDITS ON THE YELLOW AND BLACK PARLOPHONE LABELS, WITH "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD" WORKING THE CIRCUMFERENCE.

THE VINYL

THE VINYLS ARE AMAZINGLY CLEAR OF ANY DETRIMENTAL SURFACE WEAR. THEY HAVE TO BE EXCELLENT + FOR VISUAL CLARITY AND EXCELLENT + FOR SOUND REPRODUCTION. THEY SHINE BEAUTIFULLY WITH SOME LIGHT SURFACE WEAR, HOWEVER, I GRADE THEM TO BE EXCELLENT + OR YOUR MONEY BACK. WHEN PLAYED BACK, THE AUDIO IS WONDERFUL AND MOODY, THERE IS MINOR DISTORTION BUT IT IS INTERMITTENT AND DOESN'T SPOIL THE EXPERIENCE BY ANY STANDARDS.

THEY HAVE THE AMAZINGLY EARLY MOTHER STAMPERS OF 1 R AND 1 P STAMPERS.

THE EMITEX INNER SLEEVE IS FREE FROM ANY SPLITS, TEARS AND FRAYS. IT ONLY HAS MINOR CREASING AND FADING TO THE EARLY 1965 INNER BAG. EXCELLENT + (SEE PICS)

WHAT A GREAT RARITY FOR ANY SERIOUS COLLECTOR.

 IN CONCLUSION, A WONDERFULLY RARE "STEREO" EMBOSSED RUBBER SOUL, PATENTS PENDING GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE FLIPBACK SLEEVE, WITH EXCELLENT + YELLOW AND BLACK PARLOPHONE VINYLS. THIS TRUELY IS A RARE OCCASION.

The record is near-mint, there is no damage or visible surface marking. Under Bright Light you may see fine lines on the record, caused by rubbing on the paper sleeve. Reserve this grade for records where you have difficulty spotting anything wrong.
The Cover and inserts are undamaged.

The record may show some signs of having been played, possibly with light surface marks or fingerprints but there is no appreciable lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

EX-

There may be fairly visible surface markings under bright light but the sound quality if the record is not adversely affected.
The Cover and inserts may have noticeable light creasing or "foxing" due to dampness but they are all present and intact.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played a lot, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite surface marks and some light scratches. Also Use this grading where the record has suffered perhaps one more visible scratch, but is otherwise in EX or better condition.
The cover may be creased a little and/or frayed at the opening. You should itemize any more serious damage such as tears.

Buying or selling anything in less than VG condition is not recommended, if you sell records in worse condition, expect some to get returned, even if your descriptions were honest.

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has been affected noticeably, perhaps with some distortion and clicks due to scratches. The main place to use this classification is for picture discs, where the sound deteriorates more quickly with use.
The cover and inserts may be folded, have minor tears and/or splits at the edges, they have not been looked after.

The record is still just playable, but has not looked after there is a lot surface noise, it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced, possibly with chunks missing.
