The vinyl record is in EXCELLENT condition!

LP Info: Second pressing, 1966 until 1969. The Second pressing of “Rubber Soul” according the “normal” cut  matrixes: XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5. The records with  matrix -5/-5 has Variation B type of labels. At some point after late 1966, Time New Roman has been changed to Sans Sherif type. The matrix number printed on the label is now misaligned to the date stamp, being too far on the left. It’s with this style that we find almost all the later standard pressings XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5. Side 1 has Second pressing, 1966 until 1969, Variation A-1 type label. (pls., see pics. Nos. 2) 
Side 2 has First “Loud Cut” pressing, December 3, 1965 Variation A type label. (pls., see pics. Nos. 3)

PAY ATTENTION! HARD TO FIND, SUCH A THESE RARE RECORD 'RUBBER SOUL'!  THIS RECORD HAS SOUND CLOSE TO THE MASTER TAPE AS YOU CAN GET! AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC EXCELLENT LP FROM THIS FABULOUS BAND "FAB FOUR" WITH UNIQUE TYPE OF VARIOUS LABELS!

COVER
This is the correct issued 1st PRESS Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., MONO front laminated flipback cover. This example is definitely in excellent condition, with fully shine surface, gloss and clean, with no tears, writing, marks etc. There is some very light laminate surface creases. At the corners and edges has a mild wear and laminate traces. The spine is well squared, well shaped and round pinched, that is like legible/readable, some light crase and very perfect considering for it`s 50 years old. Looks nice on the whole (see pics). Definitely EXCELLENT condition.

VINYL
The Iconic 1965 UK MONO Vinyl record 'Rubber Soul'. Nice bright, clean and shiny, as it was just pressed! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever! Daylight can find both sides two light surface scratches and one mark at side 1. Just a small amount of cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuffs (only visible in direct angled light) mostly caused from where it has stored or been removed from it's cover near the 50 years! Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity! Must grade overall close Side 1 to EXCELLENT(-), while Side 2 is EXCELLENT(+)! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL)! Visually it can be concluded, that both sides are at least EXCELLENT condition.

AUDIO - Keep calm and listen to the Beatles!

The sound of vinyl record is most important for the client pleasure. Upon playing both sides, the record plays brilliantly with fantastic deepMONO sound - clarity, sharpness and depth! The sound really  is great - clearly identifiable instruments and vocals! WITH NO ANY HISS, REPEAT, SKIP/JUMP, or CRACKLE! with only a couple of typical light clicks and static between some songs. There is certainly no dominant interference and nothing obtrusive in the playback, both visually and audibly. Such a specific sound you can only get from original 2nd Press  MONO heavy-thick UK Parlophone vinyl record.  Amazingly perfect record at this age and rarity, listened to and stored very carefully in time! EXCELLENT sound or better - personal point of view matter!     

LABELS
Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition without any unwanted writing or stains but with light spindle trails on either side. NO tax is presented on labels. (see pics.)

What is so valuable and unique? Not so rare number of matrix -5, as far ULTRA RARE unique combination of both labels by side 1 and side 2 of the vinyl record makes it so valuable - different/crossover various type of labels, rare mix combination between very early first press and second press.

a. Side 1 has Second pressing, 1966 until 1969, Variation A-1 type label. (pls., see pics. Nos. 2) The Label Variation A-1 in principle has been used earlier of the second pressings Time New Roman type. It’s with this style that we find later “Loud Cut” pressings, almost all the early standard pressings XEX 579-4 / XEX 580-4. This vinyl was pressed on the EMI on old machines press. IT’S NOT CBS PRESSING as many people think! THIS IS EMI PRESSING! To date only three Beatles albums have been found in this variation and they’re 'A Hard Day’s Night', 'Rubber Soul' and 'Revolver'. The label Variation A-1 in principle has the old tax code MT on side 2 and the vinyl is Ridged/Groove Label type. But here you see that the matrix numbers are XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5 and vinyl is not ridged/groove type!?.
b. Side 2 has First “Loud Cut” pressing, December 3, 1965 Variation A type label. (pls., see pics. Nos. 3), but see that this is second press vinyl, XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5.

Whether it is accidental mistake or intentionally, consciously done?! Perhaps even has staff members of The Beatles, who realize their creativity, but hardly. Very good organization, strict discipline and cleverly held policy of selling the first day of their contract with Brian Epstein till the end, rather talk about very well thought out moves to the detailed parts.

INNER SLEEVE
The correct 1st PRESS handle with thick ORIGINAL Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. The Sleeve is clear, has no writens and without any splits. Inner Sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. 

Conclusion: A fantastic unique MONO example of this INCREDIBLY ULTRA RARE, 51 years old iconic 2nd Press 1965 UK The Beatles' LP ALBUM! Hard to find in nice condition, but simply IMPOSSIBLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS UTTERLY AWESOME AS THIS! Fantastic collectors Item!
