 Incredibly rare version of The Beatles Rubber Soul released by Capitol Records in 1965 - Capitol Record Club Issue with a different catalog number ST 8-2442 and unique cover, different from a standard issue, containing three distinct diagonal stripes on the cover. The copy is still sealed in its original factory shrink wrap with breathe holes. The bottom right corner of the back cover contains the RIAA 16 factory designator, which indicates that this copy was pressed at the Capitol Records Jacksonville, IL Pressing plant or the Longines Symphonette Society, located in New York at the time, which purchased the record club edition rights to the catalog of Capitol Records from the label for its Capitol Record Club in 1968 and continued to press Capitol LPs for the club until 1975, when it was shut down. We'll take a risk to state that this copy is the 1st Record Club pressing on the black Capitol Records label with a multicolored spectrum (Rainbow") band and Capitol logo at the top of the label, because we acquired this copy from a record collector, who kept track of his acquisitions and purchased this record in 1969. The shrink wrap remains fully intact without having any splits or tears, having one breathe hole on each side of the cover. The front cover contains a "New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo" banner at the center top.

CONDITION:

COVER: NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) The fully intact factory shrink wrap doesn't have any splits, tears or missing pieces. The cover doesn't have any ring wear or corner wear, only having some light occasional edge and corner bumping. Light creasing at the bottom left and right corners of the back cover.

VINYL: VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) The glossy vinyl contains some light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve, which can't be felt with a finger nail. Side 2 has a couple of very light long hairlines, which also can't be felt with a finger nail.

LABELS: NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Super clean labels are spot and scuff-free and barely have any spindle marks visible under a strong light source.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other.
