St Giles Hospice - Records
Record Classification
All records are graded and classified by a professional dealer with several years experience in the trade. Records are graded in line with the international standards developed by Record Collector. All non MINT records are professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki cleaning machine supplied by Stamford Audio in Lincolnshire and handled with extreme care throughout the process. All non MINT records are played on a Linn Axis turntable fitted with an Akito arm and a Roksan cartridge. Amplification is by Marantz, speakers are Sonus Faber Concerto. All records are stored in a pet and smoke free environment. We aim to provide the highest standards of customer service at all times, should you have any queries regarding the album, sleeve, matrix numbers etc please do not hesitate to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Records are shipped in professional mailers with two supporting 12" card stiffeners. The record will always be packed separate from the sleeve. Please let us know whether you require recorded delivery.

The Auction
This collection of albums came from a donated collection that has been stored away for daylight for many years. The albums were housed in a specially designed unit which has protected the sleeves from light damage. The condition of the vinyl is quite superb so some of these listing may look the same in places. I haven't seen a better set in years. Condition throughout is superb.
This is a highly collectable stereo album from The Beatles on Parlophone. This is the original album from 1965 with the laminated flipback sleeve made by Garrod and Lofthouse (patents pending) The album has been professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki machine. Classifications as per Record Collector UK.
- Vinyl - The album is in Excellent + condition with one light non play impacting hairline mark and a little bit of very light paper scuffing. This is a superb stereo copy that plays exceptionally thoroughout. Quite run in and quiet between tracks.
- Sleeve - Garrod and Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve is in Excellent condition. All edges and corners are intact, the spine is clearly readable. The rear sleeve is immaculate with no light fading.
- Labels - Parlophone - Yellow/Black. Deep Groove with K/T Tax code on side 2.

- Sound Quality - The overall sound quality is superb throughout. I tend to play albums quite loud in order to pick up any defects and this sounded great throughout. As mentioned above, these albums are rather special and have been exceptionally well loked after. Highly recommended
