THE BEATLES RUBBER SOUL PMC 1267 - MATRIX NUMBERS: XEX 579 -4/ XEX 580 -1.
RECORD/SLEEVE: This is the rare crossover pressing. Where side one is the corrected second pressing and side two is the removed first press (loud cut). This transitional pressing is very rare and especially in this condition!! The record has been played as can be seen by the label, however the playing surface is stunning!! Literally, under strong lamp light there are the inevitable sleeve removal lines but I'm struggling to see any real hairlines!! A lovely copy no doubt about that - must grade at least as a very strong EX!! The heavy slab of vinyl plays as well as it looks!!
The sleeve is just wonderful, apart from a some damage to the bottom left of the rear sleeve (see pictures) and it's so frustrating because the rest of the sleeve is brilliant! The front is glossy and only has the smallest of laminate creases!! The back is lovely and white, just let down by the torn bottom flap, which has tape residue around it! Still VG+ condition!!
