Description
Up for auction is a very nice, original copy of The Beatles album "Rubber Soul" originally released in the U.S. on Capitol Records (T-2442) in 1965.

Condition:
Cover is in very nice condition with only light signs of wear or age. No ring wear, no seam splits. Front is nice, colorful, no significant wear. Back is bone white, clean, no writing or marks, just a small spot lower left seam that has a small loss (see photo). Seams are nice, no cracking or crazing. Spine is nice, title lettering is clear, legible. Corners are good, just a tiny bump, some rubbing. Very well-preserved original. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies.
Vinyl is in great condition, still has its original glossy shine. No significant scratches or scuffs, but under a strong light, you can see some very faint, superficial small hairlines, probably from taking the vinyl out of the paper inner sleeve a few times. Looks like it's been played a couple times, but handled very carefully. Been in my personal collection for over 35 years, played once, then archived. Grade: Excellent (EX), much better than typical VG+ copies.
