VINYL:  VG- (play graded) / heavy surface scratches & scuffs / larger 4” scratch on side B that does not cause skipping

PLAY NOTES:  moderate surface noise / moderate high level distortion / ticks B3 end, ticks thru most of B4 from scratch

All vinyl (if not factory sealed) is carefully cleaned using a Nitty Gritty Cleaning System unless otherwise noted.

*** STRICT GRADING SCALE - NO SURPRISES ***

(SS) STILL SEALED = Vinyl is assumed to be factory mint and the packaging has not been opened. Any cosmetic flaws are noted.

(M) MINT = Vinyl and sleeve are perfect in every way. Vinyl is rarely graded MINT since many used records are not truly in this condition.

(NM) NEAR MINT = Vinyl is shiny and nearly perfect. It will not have any obvious signs of wear or major factory defects such as an off center pressing. Vinyl will play with extremely minimal, if any surface noise. Cover will not have creases, folds, seam splits, ring wear, cut-out holes, or writings.

(VG+) or (VG++) VERY GOOD PLUS = Vinyl may have light scuff marks, very light scratches or show signs of some wear and handling. It will play with low surface noise including barely detectable crackles or pops that do not affect the overall listening experience. It may also be pressed slightly off center or have a slight warp that does not affect the sound. Cover may have signs of minor wear including slight creases, minor seam wear, small seam splits (less than 1 inch), very light ring wear, minor cut out holes or minor writings.

(VG) VERY GOOD = Vinyl may have moderate scuff marks, light scratches that can be felt with a fingernail or show evident signs of wear and handling. It will play with moderate surface noise including crackles or pops that may affect the overall listening experience, but only occasionally. It may also be pressed moderately off center or have a warp that slightly affects the sound. Cover may have signs of moderate wear including creases, seam wear, seam splits, corner wear, ring wear, cut out holes or writings.

*(G) GOOD  = Vinyl has scratches, may have continuous crackles, pops and significant surface noise. It may also be pressed off center or have a warp that affects the sound. Cover has more than normal wear and tear.

*(P) POOR = Vinyl has major scratches, is badly warped and will not play through without multiple skips or repeating. Cover has excessive wear and tear and may or may not keep the vinyl enclosed.

*NOTE: I only sell GOOD or POOR quality vinyl if the item is highly collectable and would make a good “placeholder copy” in a collection.
