Description

THE BEATLES

“Revolver”

Capitol Records Stereo ST-2576

Incredibly rare authentic Stereo copy of a very early West Coast Los Angeles, Hollywood 1st pressing of The Beatles Revolver released in 1966 on the Capitol Records black rainbow label without a "subsidiary" text. The front cover has an incredibly rare authentic original yellow oval 3' x 2' "Includes The Beatles' Fabulous "Yellow Submarine" & "Eleanor Rigby"!" promotional singles hype sticker affixed to the shrink wrap. This sticker was applied on a very limited number of copies of the album. Interestingly enough, Capitol Records printed these sticker with the stereo prefix only (ST-2576), but they were also applied to mono covers, which are found in more numbers, making this Stereo copy extremely unique as it's much more difficult to find with the sticker, especially in a sealed condition. Located on the back cover, a factory designator, RIAA 5 (Los Angeles, Hollywood) fully guarantees that this copy is the very early 1st pressing as the RIAA 5 number can be found on the covers, manufactured no later 1966. Therefore, it can't be a later copy of 1967-68. The RIAA 5 also guarantees that this copy has the 1st print Stereo labels with "Lennon-McCartney" credits. (Second pressings used the composers' full names) Additionally, a yellow Capitol Records (Capitol '66; Sounds Great!) inner sleeve is seen through the shrink wrap at the mouth of the cover. Just like all of the other 1st Stereo pressings, the back cover has the "This stereo record should be played with a stereo cartridge and needle to avoid damage" notification at the bottom. The copy is in truly impeccable condition without any damage to the cover or shrink wrap, which doesn't have any splits or tears. The spine doesn't have any defects or flaws. There aren't any signs of ring wear on the cover. The only flaw when meticulously examining this record would be the front corners having some light bumping, the rear corner are sharp. The back cover is deep black without any ring wear, scuffing or marks. The shrink wrap contains two factory breathe holes located on the front.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid. Unfortunately, I don't ship to Germany or Russia. I apologize to the buyers from these countries in advance.
