I have just bought this for a lot of dosh - it looked ok at the time - and I believe it to be one of the rare Stereo pressings with DR. (doctor) Robert - written the same on label and sleeve as DR Robert - I was under the impression that the Stereo version was rarer so I acquired it for my pension fund.......But then I discovered a slight sun bleach warp which is so slight it only affects less than the first minute of Taxman and it does not affect side 2 at all - I am Gutted - and as such I am selling it off
I should also add there are lots of hairline marks and one large mark on side 2 which took most of my attention - aswell as missing the sun bleach warp - I also missed a quite deep scratch on side 1 - (I must have been having a bad day)
I have of course played it in its entirity
side 1 - starts with the sun bleach warp and as such the arm jumps across the opening / intro and stays firm about 30 seconds in .....It plays without any surface noise until it hits the scratch which really only affects Love You Too and the clicks are quite feint and not throughout - the rest of side 1 plays well to the end
side 2 plays lovely all through although I did play side 2 without seeing the sun bleach warp and not watching the pick up - on replay the pick up does move but it hangs on - no surface noise not even in the track breaks
I would grade this as VG - to look at
VG+ even with the warp / click - to play as the rest like most Parlophone vinyl of the time has a great sound
sleeve VG+ with the note some of the laminate is bubbling
M- UNPLAYED Its New
M- Looks and plays like its New
VG+ most will be this as they look good with a good sheen / light surface marks but plays superb
VG- plays supberb but has marks that have been checked still no clicks no jumps no grizzle
VG - has some grizzle issues and maybe a light tick but the clicks are not loud nor does it stick
