ORIGINAL 1963 MONO LP. Vinyl play grades VERY GOOD condition (see below for more info). Cat No Parlophone PMC 1202.
FIRST PRESSING Black and gold label LP, in ORIGINAL SLEEVE
Marks and light scratches on both playing surfaces do cause light background crackle throughout - especially prominent between tracks and on quiet sections of songs. Some clicks heard in places. Does not stick or jump.
Matrix numbers XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N. MT Tax code on side 1 label, incorrect Dick James credits on label.
Original 1st pressing Ernest J. Day sleeve is in overall good condition - Angus McBean credit in extreme right corner. Front cover is worn and creased on the edges, with knock wear on all four corners. Top edge of sleeve however has split from the opening edge almost to the centre. It may be possible to repair this, but I will leave that to the winning bidder. The bottom edge is also open, but could be re-glued as it is the flipback which has seperated.
The spine is complete and legible, with a little laminate crack marks.
On the rear the bottom flipback has come unstuck and needs re-glueing (as noted above). It has also been sellotaped at some time (now gone, but marked). The top flipback is almost complete (small piece missing in top right corner - see picture), but is split from the opening edge almost to the centre on the top edge (as noted above). Some handling marks, and age related browning to unlaminated rear.
Poly lined emitex inner sleeve - no splits or tears.
