Description
This is a first pressing with the gold lettering on black Parlophone label, with the Dick James Music Co credits, released in March 1963. It has the original cover, printed by Earnest J. Day & Co and the 'Emitex' inner. I purchased the LP in April 1963. It was played on various record players until 1971 after which it has only been played on my Goldring Lenco deck. The record is not perfect but it still sounds great. There are a number of surface scratches and a slight click can be heard in the gap between the last three tracks on side 1. The cover is scuffed around the edges with a 3" split at the top and a 7" split at the bottom. I wrote my name on the back (I was a teenager not a record collector). The inner sleeve has a 2" tear at the bottom.
