THE BEATLES "PLEASE PLEASE ME" LP on the GOLD PARLOPHONE LABEL.
NUMBER: PMC1202.
Due to the rarity of this album I will describe it as accurately as possible.
COVER. The cover is in GOOD condition, with slight damage to top left corner and wear to edges. The writing on the spine is clear. Not too bad at all.
RECORD. The record has quite a lot of marks on it, but I played it through (both sides) and it plays surprisingly well, with some clicks and a bit of surface noise, EXCEPT track 1, side 1 " I SAW HER STANDING THERE" which has 3 jumps in the first few seconds and gets stuck during the guitar solo.
LABELS. The labels are in VG condition with side 1 being slightly faded.
If you are looking for a cheap copy of a very rare album, this will do as long as you can live without playing "I SAW HER STANDING THERE" ( a big ask I know as that is a classic opening track to a classic album.
Impress your friends with this LP. If they mention the jumps tell 'em you wanted to get to the guitar solo as quick as possible. When it gets stuck tell 'em to marvel at the notes George plays and that they warrant hearing again and again!
A fair copy to complete a Beatles collection.
