Description

Up for auction is the extremely rare FIRST PRESSING of the BEATLES 1ST. LP "PLEASE PLEASE ME" with the GOLD Parlophone Labels (PMC 1202) released on 22 March 1963. The cover is the Ernest J. Day version, printed on the lower right corner on back, as it should be. The condition of the cover is NEAR MINT, NO blemishes. The LP has the Tax code on Side 1 around the spindle hole with the letters "T M Z". The label has the "Dick James" credits where it should be, making it a 1ST. PRESSING. The condition of the Labels is close to VG+, the spindle hole shows a bit signs of use on both sides. PLEASE EXCUSE THE LOW QUALITY OF THE CLOSE UP PHOTOS, BUT MY CAMERA IS NOT THE BEST ! The condition of the LP is close to VG+, there are a few scratches and slight scuffs. The SOUND QUALITY is NEAR MINT, it´s MARVELLOUS, of course NO skips, ticks, ONLY in soft passages silent backgound noise. The original Emitex Inner Sleeve is NEAR MINT, NO flaws.
