Hi and welcome to my auction for" THE BEATLES
"PLEASE PLEASE ME " FIRST PRESSING STEREO
From my own collection.....
Dick James credits....see photo.
This one has the very earliest tax code M
Stampers 1 G on side one and 1 R on side two.. a very, very early pressing.
Vinyl in very good + condition for 45 years. it does have a few spider marks, light scratches but it does still have its super shine....(.see photo)
No warp ,chips etc..(.see photo)
Lays nice and flat....(.see photo..)
Labels nice and clean with some spindle wear....(see photo.)
Housed in plain inner sleeve to keep original one is in excellent condition.....(see photo)
Album sleeve original with credit at far right under the S at the bottom of the sleeve, as it is supposed to be.(see photo)
Once again condition is extremely good for 45 years, see photo.corners scuffed and split ranging from i/2 inch to 1 inch.
Flipbacks stuck down,see photo. not mint..
Back nice and white with no tape or writing (.see photo)not mint
Spine nice and bright,corners not 100% as mentioned and as seen in the photos.
Nice front with good laminate,no writing ,tear at opening half way down,(see photo )
ERNEST J DAY ON BOTTOM FLIPBACK.
Played it and it plays with some surface noise,a little crackle,a pop or two and it sticks during ASK ME WHY.. but then it carries on playing after a few revolutions , my system is a Sony one,it has a heavy pickup,maybe a different system with a lighter pick up would play the song without it sticking?not bad for 45 years,how many of the 900 pressed copies still exist in this condition and play like this one plays,not many i bet! Maybe a good clean on one of those record cleaning machines would make it sound better......

Mine is a great collectors vinyl and sleeve,it will fill in that empty spot, only 900 or so empty spots worldwide.
BUT THATS NOT ALL, I AM ADDING A COPY OF OB LA DE AB LA DA,THE ONLY PRESSING TO HAVE COME FROM JAMACIA,LOVELY COPY WITH PROPER COMPANY JAMACIAN SLEEVE.
I don't cheapskate on packaging,correct mailers are used with good backing
This comes from my own collection, i only collected quality.
what you see is what you get........i dont take a small photo from way way back from the item,i enlarge the photos so that you can have a proper look.
(just like all of my collection superb quality,blue chip item will only increase over the years in value, an investment for the future.......
