Ultra rare German PLEASE PLEASE ME made for Export / Military PX sales. This items was not sold to the German public.
Grading: This item is is amazing condition, one of the best I have ever seen. Front Cover Excellent to M-. Back Cover is EX [slight staining on the opening edges]. The labels are M-. Vinyl M-. LP looks to be unplayed. Please view the nice selection of photos close, I have had records my entire life but am grading to the best of my visual knowledge. I have included closeups of each corner of the covers as well. This is a original copy - no reproduction ever.
This album is a copy of the UK Parlophone Please Please Me (but in the required Odeon label) it was made specifically for export and was distributed mainly to US and British Military Base stores in Germany and Austria. Relative to the standard Odeon releases very few of these were made.
Odeon label records had a slightly flimsy cover compared to the Parlophone, still study buy a bit flimsier. They have a nice glossy coating to them. From research there were often some vinyl defects as well in terms of manufacturing. I have never played this but as graded it’s in amazing condition.
