THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME. 1st UK PRESSING - BLACK/GOLD LABELS - PMC 1202 MONO VG CONDITION. Dick James credits on the Side A label and first issue of the outer sleeve (by the positioning of the photo credit)
The Side A Matrix is XEX421 - 1N (1 & T stampers) and "MT" close to the spindle hole The Side B Matrix is XEX422 - 1N (1 & M stampers) . The outer sleeve is VG+, with only minor damage, as seen on the photos (one crease on front from JL's shadow to the rh edge, and on the back the bottom flap is distorted at ends). The original EMITEX inner sleeve is in VG condition. The vinyl record is VG, with very light surface marks, light crackling at start, between and end of each side. There are a few minor clicks on Side B, but they do not detract from the music. The whole album plays well without skips or jumps.
I bought this in 1963 and am only selling it now as downsizing home. I hope I am giving a complete description - if not please ask a question)
