"MY BONNIE" b/w "THE SAINTS (WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN"
DECCA 31382

The Beatles' first single appeared in U.S.! Released April 23, 1962! ULTRA-RARE ORIGINAL PROMOTIONAL COPY! HISTORICAL PINK LABEL! In March of 1962 Decca cut an acetate of the single at its factory in Gloversville, New York. My Bonnie was assigned file number DGG 66833 (the record number of the British single) and The Saints was given file number DGG 24673 (the record number of the German single). The promotional pressing of the single was made shortly thereafter at the Gloversville plant. Decca's Gloversville factory pressed promotional copies of the single on pink labels with black text. Gloversville labels have the record number, file number and "Gema (AMBRA)". These labels have the classic design from the fifties. The matrix numbers stamped into the matrix by machine: Side A - 45 DGG66833A; Side B - 45 DGG24673B. Artists credited as Tony Sheridan And The Beat Brothers. Accompanied by original Decca generic 45 sleeve! This extremely rare beautiful authentic copy!!! Hard to find a better copy of this. All records from my personal collection, collected for many years.
