THE BEATLES Let It Be (Apple PXS 1) UK Box Set 1st 2U/2U Booklet + Tray MINT-
Very RARE UK first pressing of The Beatles` "Let It Be" box set, manufactured by Apple Records (May 1970).
This original first-edition UK box set comes with all the inserts and includes the record and "Let It Be" book still in the tray mount. It comes from the collection of a Swiss journalist and was stored away very soon after its original purchase in 1970.
Note: This original UK "Let It Be" box set basically has minor storage wear only. Other than that, it is in close-to-new condition.

GRADING:
MINT- BOX with very minor storage wear only. Please see the photos for details.
- Small corner bump at bottom right.
- Small area of laminate creasing (about 2 inches long) at bottom edge (center).
- Due to the fact that this item has been in storage since 1970, the box is in pretty much perfect condition.
MINT(-) BOOK. The enclosed "Let It Be" book was never opened: It is in "as new" condition and obviously absolutely unread.
- A tiny crease on front cover, that`s it!
EX+ TRAY. The tray that houses the book shows minor handling wear.
- Two small tears to each side of where the book sits in the (very delicate) cardboard tray. Other than that, the tray is fine.
EX+ RECORD COVER with minor storage wear only.
- Original very first UK pressing with the "Red Apple" logo on the rear sleeve.
- Light record imprint on both sides of the sleeve.
- Small crease to the opening edge (at top right) with adjacent tiny tear (5 mm long).
- Tiny nick to the bottom edge of the rear cover (at center).
MINT- RECORD
- Record in near-perfect condition: The record was obviously very carefully played two or three times at most.
- Play-graded as being in near-perfect condition, with pristine audio throughout.
- Very light, superficial background crackle in between some tracks.
- A few of the very lightest hairlines, from sleeve removal only. Barely visible under strong light.
- One single spiderline (6mm long; in "Across The Universe") is also visible only under strong light. It is completely inaudible.
- Original first pressing Apple Records labels with no visible wear whatsoever, no spindle lines, nothing.
MATRIX/MOTHERS/STAMPERS
- The matrix stamps in the run-out grooves read "YEX 773 - 2 U" and "YEX 774 - 2 U", thereby clearly denoting a very first UK pressing.
- Mother and stampers read "1 6 / 1 1 D" and "3 / O P", respectively.
- This record is fully certified to be a very first UK pressing of the box set edition of "Let It Be", issued in May 1970.
