Description
The Beatles - Love Songs
Original UK 1977 pressing of The Beatles Love Songs, catalogue number PCS 7211. Both vinyls include a "Factory Sample Not for Sale" sticker, which appears period-correct and shows age consistent with the record.
This copy has the important characteristics: • "Factory Sample - Not For Sale" sticker attached • Original gold-embossed gatefold sleeve
Matrix/runout
Vinyl One • Side 1: YEX 971-1 • Side 2: YEX 971-2
Vinyl Two • Side 1: YEX 973-1 • Side 2: YEX 974-1
Vinyl condition: VG+ The record has been play-tested and plays perfectly on my system, with no skips or sticking. No marks that affect play. The vinyl retains a strong gloss. I have graded it conservatively as VG+, as very fine handling or sleeve lines may become visible under strong directional light. Very centres of vinyl record labels appear to have light pencil marks in direct light.
Sleeve condition: VG+ The original laminated sleeve is clean and presentable for its age. There is wear on edges together with some minor age-related wear. Please inspect all photographs for the exact condition of the laminate, corners, edges, spine and opening.
Inner sleeve Plain inner sleeve included. The inner has some creasing and age-related wear, as photographed.
A very attractive playing copy with the desirable early sleeve variation. The photographs form part of the description and show the labels, sleeve variation, vinyl surfaces and noted crease.
