Very rare copy of Introducing...The Beatles Version 2, containing the all black label variation with the silver oval Vee-Jay logo and text. This is the first album of The Beatles in the US, released in January 1964, with the corrected version released in February, by Vee Jay Records. Original authentic thick cardboard high quality print glossy slick single type paste over column titles back cover. Unique cover variation with the small "2" at the bottom right corner of the back cover. The majority of the covers with the number came with a "TWIST AND SHOUT & PLEASE, PLEASE ME" hype sticker. Original 1st print all black without the color band, Vee-Jay VJLP 1062 catalog number 2.67' diameter pressing ring silver print oval Vee-Jay logo very rare variation labels. Original thick heavy plate, approximately 178g, glossy vinyl pressing with the very early 1st matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 - o 63-3402-2 B I I I T / Side 2 - o 63-3403-4 A I I I T. Even though the trail-off vinyl doesn't contain the "COL" stamp, the majority of these all black label pressings were manufactured at the Columbia Records pressing plant in Connecticut, which was opened in the 1920s and ceased to press vinyl in March 1964, one month after it pressed these copies of Introducing the Beatles. Red background Vee-Jay Records inner sleeve with 30 color photos of other Vee-Jay releases on each side.

 CONDITION:

COVER - EXCELLENT (EX) The cover was in the original shrink wrap, which we removed due to the several splits in it. Very clean cover without any ring wear (perhaps, only hint of it at the bottom of the front cover) The cover contains some light creases along the spine with a longer crease at the center. The paste over slick on the back cover is in great shape, only having some light yellow spot at the top left corner. Fully readable text on the spine. The cover doesn't have any splits, only containing some light corner wear.

VINYL - STRONG VERY GOOD (VG) The shiny vinyl has some light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve.

LABELS - EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) Very clean scuff-free labels, only having light spindle marks visible under a strong light source

RED VEE-JAY RECORDS INNER SLEEVE: EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-)

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS! USPS can no longer accept or deliver international mail temporary to several countries due to the service impacts. Please check whether your country is on the list of temporary service and guaranteed-delivery suspensions. Additionally, please take into consideration that the disruption of air mail schedule causes significant delays, which affect the expected delivery date declared by eBay and USPS. From our side, we guarantee the prompt shipping of the item within 24 hours after receiving payment.

Please pay attention that we DON'T ship to Russia and Germany. No exceptions. We'll immediately cancel the transaction if our policy conditions are violated. Sorry about that.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid.
