Description

The Beatles –
Side 1: Hey Jude Side 2: Revolution
A Beatles Parlophone single pressed in Kenya. Has to be rare! Unfortunately it is not in great condition. One for the die-hard Beatles collector only!
The single is on Parlophone Records, DP 570. Matrix side one: 7XCE 21183-1. (although it has 7XCE 21185 printed on label) Matrix side two: 7XCE 21186-1.
Released in 1968. Kenya pressing.
Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system. If I see a mark it will be mentioned however light/small, apart from the usual very light paper scuffs/marks - usually caused by record being removed from the inner sleeve, which appear on nearly all old records and which are only visible under strong light)
Vinyl side 1: fair (the surface is quite badly marked and it plays with quite a few clicks and a fair bit of crackle throughout, although it plays through without any sticks, jumps or skips).
Vinyl side 2: fair (the surface is quite badly marked and it plays with quite a few clicks and a fair bit of crackle throughout, although it plays through without any sticks, jumps or skips).
Comes in a plain cardboard sleeve.
The record plays with no sticks, jumps or skips.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
This copy is far from perfect! It has quite a few scratch marks and there are clicks and crackle throughout, but does play through without any sticks, jumps or skips. As I think it is a rare and hard to find single I have decided to auction it as a ‘collection filler’ for someone. Do not expect it to play perfectly!
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
