RARE " FACTORY SAMPLE - NOT FOR SALE"
Black & Silver Parlophone Label - UK RELEASE - 1971 PRESSING
PCS-3071 - YEX 168-1 & GDH / YEX 169-1 & GCA
Condition:
Sleeve: EXCELLENT : A much rarer Garrod & Lofthouse "twin Flip back" sleeve is clean throughout, and free of writing and stickers. There is some very light creasing to the laminated front only. The spine is strong and clear. The reverse is clean and bright, with both flip backs very secure.
A superb example of a very rare edition.
Record: EXCELLENT : The vinyl is in SUPERB CONDITION, with a bright clean sheen. The labels are spotless with no signs of spindle wear - Side 1 label showing the rare "FACTORY SAMPLE - NOT FOR SALE" sticker.
There are some light visible surface marks, but they do not detract from the playback quality. It plays and looks superb, with the playback still being crisp - with just the occasional light crackle. No Jumps, Pops or Sticks.
Personally checked for sound and quality - and it plays beautifully, with no skips or jumps.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
