Description
First pressing. August 6, 1965. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. With KT tax code on the Side 2 label. The original 1st presses used sans serif and the * credit indicator for “I Need You” was placed to the right of the song title. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front laminated flipback cover, with outline “stereo” on front cover.
Sleeve: VG - It's probably better than VG for it's age to be honest. There are some creases and marks mainly in the top left of the front and on Ringo! Rear cover is very clean and the flipbacks could probably be cleaned further without any damage. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve also VG/VG+.
Record: VG - Again, I'm grading quite conservatively. There are some surface marks as shown in the photos. The record plays through with some crackles but nothing terrible. No skips/jumps. There is FACTORY SAMPLE sticker on the Side 1 label.

Record Collector VG The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
